Veterans Park in the Village of Rowlett Downtown was dedicated in November of 2003. It was created with a reverence for the past and excitement for the future and offers a beautiful spot for quiet reflection and relaxation. The concept for this special public space is one of elegant dignity while sharing the history of human conflict and the growth of Rowlett.

Veterans Park is on one acre of land and elements include a water tunnel timeline that greets visitors as they enter the park from Main Street, a Plaza of Honor where flags and plaques honor all branches of military service, a gazebo, seating, and more. Veterans Park is located at 3850 Main St., Rowlett, TX 75088.

This year our Veterans Ceremony will be virtual. Join us online on the Facebook page of the Rowlett Parks & Recreation Department on November 11, 2020 at 11 am as we recognize and honor our local veterans. Veterans Day is a time when the community gathers together to give thanks to those who have dedicated and served their country.
