This December, the City of Rowlett is transforming into a magical winter wonderland filled with festive activities, highlighted by a new and exciting attraction: an outdoor ice skating rink featuring real ice! For the first time, Rowlett is partnering with the Dallas Stars to bring this incredible experience to the community, making the holiday season truly unforgettable.

Skate Into the Season

Conveniently located on Martin Drive between Coyle Street and Main Street, next to Downtown Green, the ice rink will be open throughout December. Residents and visitors alike can enjoy free admission and skate rentals, ensuring everyone can participate in this festive tradition.

The rink debuts on December 9 and will remain open until December 29, weather permitting. It will also serve as a centerpiece for the 12 Days of Christmas celebrations, running from December 13 to 24, with daily festive programming to enhance the holiday spirit.

Location and Parking

Free parking for all City holiday activities, including the ice rink, is available at the DART Downtown Rowlett Station, located at 5000 Martin Drive.
