Winter Reading Program
Dates: November 23 to January 4
Cozy up with your favorite books and earn chances to win exciting prizes! Every 30 minutes of reading marks your progress toward entries for the grand prize. Pick up your Winter Reading logs starting November 23 at the red reference desk.
Family-Friendly Events
Winter Wonderland
Date: Saturday, December 7 at 1 PM
Kick off the holidays with games, activities, hot cocoa, and photos with Santa! Families can also stuff teddy bears for donation to the City of Rowlett Police and Fire Departments. Santa's line closes at 4 PM, so arrive early! (Bring your own device for photos.)
Dorsey Elementary Choir
Date: Friday, December 13 at 11 AM.
Enjoy festive melodies performed by the choir.
Gingerbread Houses
Date: Saturday, December 14 at 11 AM
Create your own gingerbread masterpiece as part of the City of Rowlett's 12 Days of Christmas. Located on the Downtown Rowlett Green in front of the Library.
Storytime with Mrs. Claus
Date: Tuesday, December 17 at 6 PM
Gather on the Downtown Rowlett Green for a magical storytime with Mrs. Claus as part of the City of Rowlett's 12 Days of Christmas. Cozy up for festive tales and holiday cheer!

Perfect for toddlers and preschoolers (ages 0 to 4). Tickets required; pick them up at the reference desk the day of the program.
