ALL AGES PROGRAMS
Family Crafts - Tuesdays at 11 am - Spark your creativity with weekly family-oriented crafts. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
July 2: Coloring Sheets, Puzzles, & Games - Calm your mind before an exciting day of fireworks.
July 9: Fairy Gardens - Design a habitat fit for a wood sprite.
English Language Social Hour - Fridays at 4 pm - Practice English speaking skills in a safe and welcoming environment. Share stories, improve vocabulary, and meet new friends. For non-native speakers of all ages.
Saturday Programs - Saturdays at 11 am
July 6:The Super Mario Bros. Movie[PG] - Enjoy a movie and a light snack.
July 13: Perot Museum STEAM Stations - Spend your morning participating in fun STEAM-related activities, provided by the Perot Museum of Nature and Science.
July 20:Wonka[PG] - Enjoy a movie and a light snack.
July 27: End of Summer Carnival - Reminisce on past programs and bid Summer Reading farewell with fun carnival activities. The grand prize winners will also be announced.
Video Games - Wednesday, July 3 at 3 pm - Level up against your friends. Games and systems will be provided by the Library. Personal games are subject to approval by Library staff.
Orchestras Are Instrumental! - Tuesday, July 16 at 11 am - A one-hour, hands-on interactive presentation to young children giving them the opportunity to hear, see, touch, and explore different aspects of classical music and the orchestra. Presented by Garland Symphony Orchestra.
YOUTH PROGRAMS
Storytime - Wednesdays, Thursdays, & Fridays at 10 am & 11 am - For toddlers and preschoolers (ages 0 to 4) who can actively engage and listen for 30 min. Tickets are required and can be collected at the red reference desk.

Little Champs - Wednesdays at 3 pm - Weekly activities for ages 4 to 8. Kids will not be permitted to enter after 10 min. Grown-ups must remain on site for the duration of the program.

Masterminds - Thursdays at 3 pm - Weekly activities for ages 9 to 13. Kids will not be permitted to enter after 10 min. Grown-ups must remain on site for the duration of the program.

TEEN AND ADULT PROGRAMS
Tinker Tuesday - Tuesdays at 6:00 pm- Learn something new, share with others, seek crafting advice, and meet other makers. Materials are provided free of charge. Ages 14 and up are welcome.

Citizenship Information Session - Wednesday, July 3 at 10 am - Find out if you are eligible for U.S. citizenship and work with an immigration professional to file the necessary forms.
Senior Book Club - Wednesday, July 3 at 1 pm- Join us for a lively discussion ofLessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus (Fiction). Chemist Elizabeth Zott is not your average woman, but a brilliant scientist who has the misfortune of being a woman in 1950s America. After a frustrating failed academic career, Zott finds success in an unlikely place: as the host of a television cooking show.
The Writing Salon with Rochelle Colon - Friday, July 5 at 10:30 am- Write for the fun of it every first Friday of the month! Write what you choose: poetry, free form writing, creative writing, memoirs, or fiction. Creative prompts will be provided for inspiration.
Second Saturday Book Club - Saturday, July 13 at 2:00 p.m.- This month's read is All Systems Red by Martha Wells (Science Fiction). A scientific expedition on an alien planet goes awry when one of its members is attacked by a giant native creature. She is saved by the expedition's SecUnit (Security Unit), a cyborg security agent which has secretly named itself "Murderbot."
