There Are Many Ways You Can Help Friends of Rowlett Animals

Jul 28, 2023

Friends of Rowlett Animals (FRAs) is a 501(c)(3) all volunteer non-profit organization in Downtown Rowlett. Their mission is to provide resources, programs, and education to promote adoption and care of homeless pets in Rowlett and the Lake Ray Hubbard area. FRAs' vision is a world where every companion animal has a safe and loving forever home.

Here are some ways you can help FRAs:

ADOPT: Browse their list of adoptable cats and dogs to find your new family member. Pets adopted from Friends of Rowlett Animals are sterilized, microchipped, and current on vaccinations.

FOSTER: Provide a safe and loving home for kittens and cats until they can be placed for adoption. Sometimes the local shelter is full. Sometimes a cat has medical needs. Sometimes a pet needs socialization. This is where their fosters make all the difference. Ready to foster? Fill out the foster application here.

VOLUNTEER: Give them a hand! Friends of Rowlett Animals could not exist without their volunteers. As a private, nonprofit organization, they rely on the assistance of caring, devoted, and hard-working volunteers. Apply to be a volunteer today.

GIVE: There are many ways in which you can donate. Even by buying at your favorite store. Donate here and help by giving for the animals.

LEARN: Learn about current FRAs news, and find useful resources for the well-being of your pets. Stay informed about current fundraising events, programs they are involved with, and the needs of the shelter. Also, check out their recommended resources for your pet.

Check out their website at https://frastx.org/ and follow their social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) to stay updated with FRAs news and animals at the shelter. You can actively help the shelter pets by sharing their posts.
