Saturday, May 14th, 2022 from 9am to 12pm, Keep Rowlett Beautiful, an affiliate of Keep Texas Beautiful, along with Keep America Beautiful is celebrating the Don't Mess with Texas Trash-off/Great American Cleanup's 25th year!

All you need to do is organize a group of individuals, friends, families, neighbors, teammates, or coworkers. You can clean any public area that needs attention, your favorite park, office area, school, your adopted spots, roadways, etc., or they will provide one for you. KRB wants to make sure all of their volunteers stay safe during their cleanup event and they will have goodie bags for every registered group when they pick up their supplies.

Teams will be participating throughout Rowlett. Keep Rowlett Beautiful will supply trash bags, grabbers, gloves and t-shirts while supplies last. This is a great opportunity for high school students to earn community service hours! Litter will only attract more litter, but as a community we have the power to change that!

They have set up multiple "small pod" sites where groups of 10 (or more depending on the size of the site) people can sign up. Choose your site, sign up yourself or your group and they will be there with supplies!

Everyone wants to live, work, and play in a clean and green community and it's up to everyone to make it possible and improve the overall quality of life for us all!
