Veterans Park was dedicated in November of 2003.  It was created with a reverence for the past and excitement for the future and offers a beautiful spot for quite reflection and relaxation.  The concept for this special public space is one of elegant dignity while sharing the history of human conflict and the growth of Rowlett.  

Park elements include a water runnel timeline that greets visitors as they enter the park from Main Street, a Plaza of Honor where flags and plaques honor all branches of military service, a gazebo, seating, and more.
